Bio

Elaine Boby was born and raised in Chicago where she continues to live and work. Having been trained as an oil painter at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she identifies as a painter first and foremost, but is always learning new techniques in all sorts of creative pursuits. Elaine currently paints in watercolor as her main medium and engages with the arts community in Chicago as a teaching artist, collaborator and occasional curator.
